The processing of galvanized square tubes uses the principle of electrolysis to accumulate a layer of metal or alloy on the surface of the product through the electrolysis process of metal ions, in order to modify the physical and chemical functions of the product surface, ultimately making the galvanized plate have wear resistance, decorative properties, and impact resistance.

The electroplating process for processing galvanized square tubes mainly includes pretreatment, electroplating, and post plating processes. The quality of the plating layer depends on the electroplating process of the material, and the electroplating process is affected by many factors. The six main factors are summarized as follows:

① Sodium hydroxide: Sodium hydroxide has a two-layer effect on the reaction. When its content is too high, it is prone to coking during high-temperature operation; "When the content of zinc is too low, the solution becomes less dispersed, which can reduce the quality of the zinc layer.".

② Iron content: When the iron content is too high, there will be correspondingly more iron in the plating layer, which will lead to insufficient brightness of the passivation film of the product; If the iron content is too low, it will lead to a lower iron content in the zinc plating layer, reducing the corrosion resistance of the car plate, and leading to an olive color on the surface of the car plate.

③ Temperature: During the electroplating process, too high a temperature can cause the solution to become lax and decrease, resulting in an increase in iron content in the plating layer, and uneven passivation; When the reaction temperature is too low, the high current density region will simply scorch, resulting in greater brittleness and slower deposition speed of the coating.

Cathode moving speed: It is necessary to ensure that the cathode is in a moving state during the electroplating process. If the moving speed is too fast, the plating layer in the high current density area during the electroplating process will be relatively rough; However, if the moving speed is too slow, air flow may occur, resulting in uneven coating of the material.
